After two impressive days at the ITA Southern Regional Tournament, the Ole Miss men’s doubles team of Isac Strömberg and Kai Milburn continued their winning momentum, earning a spot in the semifinals.
Dominant Start in the Round of 16
In their Round of 16 matchup, Strömberg and Milburn showcased excellent teamwork, defeating Saheb Sodhi and Eric Perkowski from Southern Mississippi with a score of 8–4. This victory secured their place in the quarterfinals, setting the tone for another strong performance.
Quarterfinal Win Against Tulane Duo
Maintaining their confidence and rhythm, the Rebels’ pair went on to face Daniel Phillips and Hady El Kordy from Tulane University in the quarterfinals. They clinched the match 8–5, continuing their streak and proving themselves as one of the top-performing pairs of the tournament.

In the Sunday consolation bracket, Vlado Jankanj represented Ole Miss with a solid victory, defeating Jacob from Alabama in straight sets, 6–4, 6–2. His win added another positive note for the Rebels’ campaign at the regional event.
Meanwhile, Matthieu Chambonniere delivered a spirited performance in the singles quarterfinals against No. 11 Benito Sanchez Martinez from Mississippi State. Though he fell short, his resilience and competitive play drew attention for his effort and determination on the court.
